(1) The [28 & 29 Vict. c. 63.] Colonial Laws Validity Act, 1865, shall not apply to any law made after the commencement of this Act by the Parliament of a Dominion.
(2) No law and no provision of any law made after the commencement of this Act by the Parliament of a Dominion shall be void or inoperative on the ground that it is repugnant to the law of England, or to the provisions of any existing or future Act of Parliament of the United Kingdom, or to any order, rule or regulation made under any such Act, and the powers of the Parliament of a Dominion shall include the power to repeal or amend any such Act, order, rule or regulation in so far as the same is part of the law of the Dominion.

||① [빅토리아 28-29년 법률 제64호] 1865년 ｢자치령법률효력법｣은 이 법 시행 이후 자치령 의회가 제정하는 어떠한 법률에도 적용하지 아니한다.
② 이 법 시행 이후 자치령 의회가 제정하는 어떠한 법률 또는 법률의 규정도 잉글랜드 법률 또는 [[영국 의회|연합왕국 의회]]가 제정하는 법률이나 그 법률에 따라 발령되는 법규명령의 위반을 이유로 무효가 되거나 불성립되지 아니한다. 자치령 의회는 그 자치령의 법률로 포함된 부분에 한하여 전단의 법률이나 법규명령을 폐지하거나 개정할 권한을 가진다. ||
